The Richfield Hawks continued their winning ways by scoring their second straight 9 to 2 win, this time against the Hartford Inferno, with all of the scoring taking place in the first half of the game. The scoring started immediately after kickoff when Taylor B. made a perfect pass to Rachel S. who scored the first of her two goals. Rachel S. scored her second goal on an assist by Ben M, who also added two goals of his own and another assist on a goal by Taylor B. Other goals were scored by Raquel L.(assisted by Zach N.), Erin I. (assisted by Leah N.), Zach N.(assisted by Will M.) and Will M. (assisted by Zach N.).
Goaltenders Rachel S. and Will M. did a great job in the second half with the help of defenders Stephen B., Tyler H., Nick W. and Taylor B. shutting out the Inferno.
All in all, the entire Hawks played a great team game! The Hawks will try for their fifth win in a row next Saturday against the Hartford Panthers.
