The Cyclones jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but it was soon answered by the Hawks with two goals on passes from Nick W. to Stephen B. Stephen B. lofted another goal in on a direct kick for three on the day. Taylor B. had a solid shot for a goal. Zach N. had a sliding solo shot and a second solo shot for two on the day for him which ended the first half scoring. Sarah B., Tyler H. and Ben M. played some good defense. One Hawk went down with a broken wing at the end of the half as Sarah B. broke her arm. Outstanding passing occured in the second half which led the way for a Ben M. to Nick W. to Rachel S. goal. Raquel L. was in good position to tap in a solo shot in front of the goal. The final goal was on an Erin I. pass to Taylor B. Erin I. had several key defensive shots to protect goalies Charlie M. and Will M.
