The Hawks met the Tomcats on a rainy day with a soaked field. The Tomcats jumped out to a 1-0 lead which was answered by the Hawks with a Ben M. to Stephen B. to Nick W. combination for the goal. Will M. gave a nice pass to his brother Charlie M. who put in a second goal for the Hawks. A third goal came as the ball deflected off of Ben's face and Taylor B. booted it in. Now that's using your head! Charlie M. put in a solo shot that was answered by the Tomcats and the Hawks won 4-3. Tyler H., Erin I., & Leah N. did some key defensive work. Zach N. did some precision dribbling at key times to help the passing game. Raquel L. and Sarah B. helped in the mid-field, while Rachel S. played strong at the keeper position. The best effort,however, was turned in by the fans who showed good support standing under their umbrellas!!!!!!!!!
