The Richfield Chargers played their last regularly-scheduled game of the season today against the Jackson Hyenas. The Chargers left no doubt that they were a team on a mission as they prevailed 14-0 against a spirited Jackson team.
The Charger onslaught was led by Caroline Basis (4 goals) & Rachel Scaduto, Brianna Hall, Mackenzie Korsi (2 goals apiece) & Kirsten Opichka and Taylor Brazell who each tallied once.
Kirsten Opichka, Brittany Hetzel, Brianna Hall, Jordan Hottinger and Caroline Basis pitched in at goalie to gain the shutout after receiving stellar defensive play from Justyce Hottinber, Taylor Brazell and others.
The Chargers are now unbeaten in the Fall & Spring session. Today's victory runs the Chargers record to 7-0 in the Spring and 15-0 for the combined Fall and Spring sessions.
