In a rain-shortened game, the Richfield Chargers prevailed over a spirited Hustisford Hurricanes 2-1 in Hustisford. The Chargers got out of the gate with two early goals from Caroline Basis (CF). The second coming on a feed from Mackenzie Korsi.
The Chargers controlled the ball effectively while also benefiting from solid goalkeeping from Kirsten Opichka and Brianna Hall. Next week the Chargers return to Hustisford to complete their 2 week Hustisford road trip.
