The Richfield Chargers notched a 9-0 victory in a well-played game at West Bend Regal Ware Field. The Chargers earned a solid team victory over a spirited Cheetah team. This despite being short-handed due to Spring Break vacations.
The Chargers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Jordan Hottinger tallied twice in the first half, benefiting from excellent passes from Valerie Meisner and Caroline Basis. Also scoring in the first half for the Chargers were Taylor Brazell and Justyce Hottinger. Caroline Basis added two goals as well.
In the second half, the scoring was closed out by Breanne Rosewitz, Kirsten Opichka and Brianna Hall. Brianna Hall's goal coming after a nifty and unselfish feed from Opichka. The Chargers benefited from solid goalkeeping by Kirsten Opichka, Brianna Hall and Taylor Brazell and stubborn team defense. Final score: Richfield Chargers 9-0 over the Cheetahs.
